DAY 1: NAIROBI– MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
You will be met by our representative at the agreed pick up point in the morning and have a short introduction and briefing about your safari then proceed to the Mara Reserve. The road trip to Mara is full of interesting sightings and you will make stopovers along the way. You will stop for about 20 minutes at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for the valley viewing and photography then proceed with your journey to Masai Mara. You will arrive in good time for check in and lunch. After lunch and some rest, head out for an afternoon game drive. The Mara is known for its abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino), so keep your camera ready! Optional activities include hot air balloon safari, guided nature walks, bush lunch/dinner/breakfast, bird walks, and evening sundowner. DAY 2: FULL DAY MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
You will have a very early morning sunrise game drive before breakfast as this is one of the best times to see predators such as lions and leopards, as well as other animals starting their day and hunting. You will return to your lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. You can also take a guided nature walk around the lodge area before resuming your full day game drive in the reserve. To the southwest lies the Serengeti border, to the northwest the Siria Escarpments, and east the Mara River. From 1st July to 31st October, the annual wildebeest migration takes. This event involves over a million wildebeests, impalas and zebras crossing from the Serengeti National Park to the Masai Mara through the Mara River filled with crocodiles and hippos and making it past the banks dotted with the even more dangerous lions, cheetahs, and leopards is a memorable experience. You will return to your lodge or a designated picnic area for lunch then continue with your afternoon game drive for more wildlife spotting. Masai Mara is home to numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topis, impala, gazelle, warthog, zebra among others. DAY 3: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE – NAIROBI
Today after breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and have one last game drive enroute as you head back to Nairobi arriving in good time to be dropped off at the pick up point
