Overview
One of Kenya’s smallest National Parks is tucked away in the heart of the Rift Valley, off the main road close to Lake Naivasha’s southernmost point. However, in Kenya, size is irrelevant—just ask anyone who has ever happened upon a peloton of safari ants and had to remove their pants, like me twice. But I’m getting off topic. The splendor of the Big Five or endless savannah plains are not the main attractions of this magnificent park. It has nothing to do with Kilimanjaro or the ferocious warriors of the ruling tribes. No, there are plenty of aspects of this park that leave you wondering if you are still in Kenya.
